Are you ready boots? Start walkin'!

Inspired by "These Boots Were Made for Walkin'", particuarly the cover by Olivia Holt from The Shake it Up: I <3 Dance CD. But I gotta say, I didn't like how Olivia Holt's version didn't stay true to the original in some parts but hey, I guess they had their reasons. I was listening to it on my MP3 Player as I was trying to fall asleep and thought of the Equestria Girl versions of the Mane Six.

This drawing is poking fun at the fact that the Mane Six in Equestria Girls are all wearing boots. In fact, most, if not all of the characters have foot wear that goes up to their knees, which seems really silly to me. Speaking of which, I feel like their boots in this drawing... don't look like boots. Probably because they aren't as high as they are in the movie. Maybe I just drew their legs too short. Also, it's not really apparent but they are supposed to be in a walking motion. Obviously, I'm not very good at drawing motion. Not that I think about it looks like they are in a "about to walk" pose.

I'll let you in on a little secret about how I drew this drawing. In order to get them all in the same pose I drew a base drawing and drew each of them using the base drawing as a sort of "skeleton" onto tracing paper. I had to draw three to a piece of paper because they wouldn't fit on one piece of paper. Then I scanned each picture and put them into one picture using Paint.

It was really fun to finally draw all of them. I particularly liked drawing Fluttershy's hair.
