Equestria Girls Z

EDIT: (06/16/14) WHOA! Nearly 50 favs!? I didn't expect this drawing to be so popular! Maybe I'll do a sequel type drawing of them in action poses with the weapons.

Another art idea I had planned from my art ideas .txt file. Sadly, this wasn't exactly what I had in mind. I wanted to draw them full profile with the PPGZ weapons as well but that proved to be too difficult so I just went with this. I changed the "P" on their outfits to a "E" for Equestria.

I chose each role based on personality. You'd think I would have chose Twilight Sparkle to portray Hyper Blossom but in PPGZ, Blossom is very hyperactive similarly to Pinkie Pie. Same case with why I chose Fluttershy for Rolling Bubbles. Bubbles in PPGZ (the Japanese version anyway) has a very calm, soft voice like Fluttershy.And they close connect with animals at a different level. And Rainbow Dash as Powered Buttercup was a pretty obvious choice.They're both tomboys. And I also like how both Rainbow Dash and Buttercup both play soccer.

I didn't change their hairstyles to reflect the PPGZ because I was too lazy. I just gave Pinkie a headband that is also a bow... lol I still had Rainbow and Fluttershy have the hair pins that Bubbles and Buttercup had. I originally wasn't planning to do the hair pins but Fluttershy would look weird without that butterfly pin so I decided to just draw the pin that Bubbles has in her hair.
